Der Abend tarnt sich als Dokumentation einer Probe, einer Stückentwicklung zwischen Konvention und Überspitzung. Die beiden Choreographen, zunächst im Publikum, verunsichert aber zu allem entschlossen; die Darsteller/Tänzer führen aus, was ihnen gesagt wird. Puppen lassen Puppen tanzen. Eine Metapher auf eine Gesellschaft, die kapituliert, die ihre Orientierung und Werte verloren hat. Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor touren seit Jahren mit großem Repertoire in der ganzen Welt. Mit „The Third Dance“ feierten sie in Tel Aviv eben die Premiere eines nächsten potentiellen Welterfolges.
